Not good check in

I loved the very equipped apartments

Did not appreciate having to wait for a 4pm check in. We arrived at 11.30 a.m and were told maybe a room would be ready by 2p.m and they would txt us . Went back several times to reception but no room ready. Asked again at 3.55 and got room. We never did get a txt. I cannot believe there was not a room ready before 4p.m as at that time all thr cleaners leave. So they have empty rooms ready by 12 or 1 or 2oclk but as they state check in is 4p.m they are not willing to give room out before that. Really bad policy and have never experienced that in all the hotels we have stayed around that area.

Excellent, highly reccommend!

Lovely accommodation, staff were so friendly and helpful. Great communication, with What’s app message also before we arrived. Apartment had everything we needed, great views, big terrace overlooking the pool and sea. Free pubblic parking outside the hotel. Everything you need on site really with supermarket, bar and restaurant on site. High chair and baby cot provided for us, no hassle whatsoever.

White Bay Bahia Blanca

I liked the Welcome at Reception upon arrival. And very helpful and cheerful throughout our stay. As we're all the staff. The apartment was very modern and very clean. Thankyou. The Communal areas were very clean too. Thankyou. As was the pool and pool area. Which includes a happy hour which I am not worried about but Thankyou. Breakfast was amazing lots of choice and scrummy. Thankyou. Fantastic location central for walking the beautiful coastal walk into Amadoras (my favourite beach) approx 10 mins. And approx a 15 min walk into Peuto Rico. This is my second visit to Bahia Blanca apartments and shall be returning when I visit Gran Canaria next. I have been visiting Gran Canaria for some 20 yrs and have stayed in many hotels from Gloria Palace to Marina Bay View. But I am drawn to Bahia Blanca. I live close to Sandbanks in Poole, Dorset. Which in itself is an up market costly seaside resort. I know that given guaranteed sunshine and its location you will find this accommodation hard to beat for the price. I have 1 weeks holiday abroad a year. So far, I have not been disappointed. My holiday is about having lovely weather, lovely location sea view ideally, which we had. Breakfast which we had. Cooking facilities which we had if we wished to stay in. A balcony with sea views, sunbeds and patio table and chairs which we had. Pool and pool bar which we had. We also had a dish washer and washing machine which was great given we had opted only to taking a 10kg bag and handbag on board the flight. I personally do not need entertainment on my holiday in the day or evenings.. but this was included which is a bonus for those who do not like or cannot venture out. I did join in the aqua aerobics which was a good gentle exercise and a laugh. Different themed meals in the evening for those who like/need that. I prefer to eat at lunchtime and can/able to venture out so didn't use that facility. It also has a supermarket open daily selling the essentials.

The pool music. It was very samey. Would have been nice to hear some chill out music. Which is only a small negative and easily rectified by either the entertainers changing the music or me taking my own in the form of earpods. But it would not put me off staying again. As this negative out ways all the positives and is my personal choice.

Lovely stay

Hotel was well located near the beach. Access to the beach by car was very convenient. Pool was very nice and warm, also deep enough for a good swim. Sara H. at the reception was helpful and fun to communicate with. Food was simple but well cooked and tasty. Gym and sauna had a separate small building which was pleasant to use.

Tea and coffee amenities was not available during the dinner time. Property contains a lot of stairs which may be difficult for an elderly people.

Whilst the lift being out of order bugged me, it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again as everything else was very go

Stunning location and in great proximity to our favourite beach (Amadores) The beds were comfortable, apartment was quite spacious and provided everything needed for a comfortable stay

The lift was broken, we were told it would be fixed the next day but still on departure day it was out of order. While I consider myself to be fit and healthy, it still was an awful inconvenience and I can only imagine how difficult it was for those who were older and not as fit to manage all those steps. We paid in full on arrival but had I known the lift would be out of order for all that time I would have expected some kind of discount or even a bottle of wine on the house as some kind of gesture

Great stay at Bahia blanch.

Location between Puerto Rico and Melanoras was perfect an easy walk either way, apartments were very modern and clean, well fitted out, only down side is that they are on a steep hillside, and the main lift is out of action, and has been for many years, so request a low down room if you can't manage 150 steps each way to your room! Staff very friendly, breakfast was excellent, I would definitely recommend a stay here. Bryn Skilbeck.

The lift out of service, its a funicular railway and looks like its been out of service for a long time. Needs a work around.

Love this place for the location (between Puerto Rico and Amadores), private balcony and comfy beds

Sea view is amazing and private balcony, beds are very comfy too.

A lot of steps to the apartments, the lift was not functioning for the week. The breakfast isn't great.

Everything was perfect with amazing views from terrace. In apartment have everything you need for self catering.Great are with walkable distances to Amadore beach or Puerto Rico town centre. We had breakfast included and food was delicious.Staff very friendly and helpful. Definitely would be back

relaxed

The view was great. Apartment well equipped with large terrace. Evening meals very nice with great selection of dishes. Very nice team in the restaurant and around the pool. Our baby boy loved the attention he got from the girls in the restaurant (Lucy, Maria, Teresa and other girl) and David from the pool area. We generally have nice and relaxing time in the hotel.

Amount of steps to conquer on the way from the lift to the apartment and back. This was only an issue due to staying with an infant. Ant visitors in the apartment. Limited space for the baby cot in the bedroom.

Great accommodation..superb staff especially Manuel and Javier at reception. Lucy and all the team were great. Michail the barman was so nice too James the entertainments guy is just brill. Music all day hy the pool which we loved.

Only 1 cable car. We were lucky it was working for the 10 days we were there.

Having fun in the Sun

The location and the view are amazing. About 10 to 15 minutes walks to the town and beaches. Nice restaurants close by. The hotel can arrange hotel pick up and drop off. It's much cheaper than taking a taxi to and from the airport.
